As a former competitive tennis player who transitioned to pickleball 7 years ago, I’ve dealt with my share of injuries—back, knees, shoulder, hip and feet. I’ve seen doctors, chiropractors, and massage therapists, but the relief was always temporary and the advice was usually to stop playing. A fellow pickleball player recommended Elana after I’d been struggling with shoulder and upper back pain for more than 8 months. It had gotten so bad I couldn’t lift my arm overhead, and even brushing my teeth was painful. After just one session, about 80% of my pain was gone. After the second session, I was about 90% better in only one week. Elana has an incredible understanding of how muscles work, pinpointed the true source of my pain, and gave me targeted exercises that accelerated my recovery. If you’re a pickleball player dealing with pain or muscle strains and want to stay on the court, I highly recommend Elana.
