Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) this specialized bodywork uses gentle, rhythmic circular strokes and precise pressure to stimulate the lymphatic system and promote the natural movement of lymph fluid. Unlike traditional massage, MLD works with extremely light pressure. It targets the skin and superficial tissues rather than the muscles beneath. The specific pressure, direction, and speed of each stroke are what make this technique effective. MLD is ideal for clients recovering from surgery, managing post-traumatic swelling, or dealing with chronic fluid retention, inflammation, and pain.
