Analytical, precise, and effective – these are not the typical words one would use to describe a massage, but these are the words that provide the most accurate description. I’ve been to several massage therapists in the last 5 years or so, and not one has been able to provide the relief from muscle tightness that Liken has been able to provide. He will manipulate the area - my hands were the issue - to observe the movement, note any restrictions, and identify the specific location of the tightness. He then works the tight area and follows the tightness to the ending point. In my case, he started at my hands, then moved to my forearms, biceps, shoulders and finished at my neck. My hands felt so much better and my arms, which I didn’t realize were as tight as they were, felt more flexible and relaxed. It took a couple of sessions, but I highly recommend him if you are experiencing tightness in your muscles for any reason.
