Welcome New Clients

Integral means necessary for wholeness. Our licensed massage therapists, coaches and psychotherapists draw on the wisdom of a variety of treatments and disciplines to holistically serve each unique individual. The clinical team’s combined skills include body work, massage therapy, psychotherapy, coaching and energy healing techniques to treat the whole person. We recognize that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts and therefore seek to address the mind, body, spirit, and relationship parts of each client. We provide an affirming, inclusive environment so that clients can experience the safety necessary for healing, self-examination and growth. We believe that as each client experiences greater well-being, their healing will naturally have a positive impact on the broader community.

 

Trauma informed & client centered body work at Integral Insights honors the following principles: 
 

• Informed consent: our therapists work to help clients to understand what will happen in a session and give clients an opportunity to say "yes" or "no" to interventions throughout a session.
• Sensitive language: our therapists strive to listen carefully to their clients and demonstrate that listening by using language that is both sensitive to "triggers" and meaningful to the individual.
• Empowerment: our therapists provide their clients with information and tools that increase the client's ability to direct their session, actively participate and insofar as possible utilize their therapies on their own as needed and desired.
• Raising body consciousness: our therapists facilitate the client's awareness and sensitivity to their own body.
• Strengthening the mind-body connection: our therapists act to restore the client's positive relationship between their mind and body, a relationship that can be weakened by trauma and stress.
• Neurodiversity awareness: our therapists understand that people experience their bodies in ways that are unique to their neurology and therefore seek to understand individuals' sensory needs to deliver effective services.
