After a few years of working at massage studios in Denver, Sarah (she/her) created Ello Massage Therapy in May 2025. Her education, skills, background, & experience set her apart from other massage therapists. Whether she's working with new clients or longstanding clients who've been with her from the very start, Sarah honors the fact that every day is different & every body is different, & approaches each session with this in mind; Sarah's goal is to meet her clients where they are so they can get the most out of every session.
Sarah earned her B.S. in biology & chemistry from CU Denver in May 2020. Massage school was an unexpected pivot that's since turned into her passion; what started as a temporary "in-between" job became a career she loves. She completed her massage certification through a 12-month program at the Colorado School of Healing Arts in 2021, and she hasn't looked back.
Sarah has always had a passion for helping others. In college, she was on a pre-health track aiming for a career in physical therapy; because of that, Sarah has had extensive education in anatomy and physiology, which informs her practice today. While she never went on to grad school, Sarah's passion for physiology & health has persisted; she's also always enjoyed building connections with others, & strives to create solid client relationships where her clients can confidently feel like they're in good hands.
Massage isn't just about relieving sore muscles or combating stress; to Sarah, massage is about the mind-body connection & nervous system regulation; it's about helping athletes & performers feel & show up as their best; easing the physical & emotional stressors her prenatal clients experience; alleviating acute & chronic pain, empowering clients to take charge of their health & wellbeing, soothing nervous systems & helping clients along their path, whatever their massage goals might be.
Like with any professional-client dynamic (with your hair dresser, your dental hygienist, your yoga instructor, etc.), not everyone is a fit with everyone; Sarah hopes to honor that with her introductory session offer. For new clients, Sarah hopes to give people a chance to get a feel for her style at a discounted rate.
Sarah's office - and mobile "office" spaces - are always safe, inclusive, welcoming spaces for everyone and every body. LGBTQ+ friendly.
The goal of Ello Massage is to provide bodywork for you and your individual goals - not just a "basic", generic massage. Sarah specializes in focus work, from carpal tunnel compression symptoms to tension headaches to stiff shoulders - if you have a focus you'd like a massage therapist to spend more than a minute on, Sarah is that therapist. Sarah knows that there are many ways to approach an issue, and will strive to find the one that works best for you. Sessions are client-centered and individually tailored for YOU.
