John Wise PT, LMT is an Expert Level Myofascial Release therapist in Columbus Ohio. He was first introduced to John Barnes techniques while studying physical therapy at Ohio University. John graduated from Ohio University in1989 and was lucky enough to have MFR therapists begin his training during several of his college internships. To further expand his manual skills, John also completed a certificate program in massage therapy from Columbus State University in 2004. He took his first MFR class in 1993 and continues to attend new, and repeated, MFR seminars as often as possible.

John has worked in many settings including hospitals, outpatient clinics, nursing homes and home health. He began his private manual therapy practice over 22 years ago and formed Insight Physical Therapy and Wellness in 2018 where he exclusively uses Myofascial Release Techniques as taught by John Barnes. Working in this type of setting allows one on one, patient focused treatment to release restrictions in the fascial system. Our goals are to restore normal posture and movement, reduce pain, and help set the body up for authentic healing. This work helps us all gain more insight to living a more balanced and active lifestyle.
