About Blissful Balance
Hello! My name is Chadera Maasdam and I am a licensed massage therapist. I graduated from Body Wisdom College in Urbandale, IA. I completed a 900 hour program which included many modalities and unique techniques. A few of them are classic Swedish massage, hot/cold stone massage, deep tissue, bamboo massage, acupressure, and Thai Herbal. I plan to introduce a few more in the future.

I have always been interested in how the body works and traditional healing practices. After going to school to become a Medical assistant with limited Radiology, I found I really like helping people feel better. Ok everyone! This was the best massage I have EVER had! Chadera really knows and understand how to give a complete massage. She is so thorough and uses many techniques including bamboo sticks for a deep-tissue experience like no other. I gave her a perfect score and would drive back (as we were visiting) just for one of her massages. Tip: Do yourself a favor and don’t waste time with just an hour at least get an hour and a half, if not more.
