About The Back Shak

Hours are: Tuesday 9-3  Wednesday 9-3   Thursday 10-5   Friday 10-6

The Back Shak opened in February 2024. It is located on the 3rd floor in the Clower Building in downtown Gulfport. It's right next door to The Rackhouse.

I've been a licensed massage therapist since 2023 and absolutely LOVE what I do! My style of massage is very slow and detailed to make sure I can get even those knots you didn't know existed to release & relax.

Hope to see you soon!

Service Received: $20 OFF ANY MASSAGE with Ariel P.
She was very focused and took her time to address the issue. She was soft but a bit firm and didn't hurt at all 😀

Ariel is an absolute master of her craft with a down to earth soul. I love how she finds the exact knots and spots and works meticulously on them. She takes her time with precision pressure, she can hold a conversation or work in silence or listen to you snore.. She is the absolute best

Service Received: Deep Tissue Massage with Ariel P.
I did not receive a deep tissue massage. Ariel’s touch was too light for my taste. I guess I bear part of the blame for not asking for more pressure. All massage therapist asked about what pressure a customer prefers. Also water is normally offered after a massage. Note that there is no bathroom connected to the massage room.
