Valentine's Day 2021

When I began my career in 2003, I always knew I would find a niche where I could assist clients in chronic pain, as that is what led me to massage school. Having a history of chronic pain myself, allows an honest understanding of how it changes one's life, seemingly overnight. 

Fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, myofascial pain syndrome, degenerative disc disease, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoporosis, and scoliosis are a few of the health conditions that I am most familiar. In 2017, I received advanced education to work with people with cancer or a history of cancer. Now, oncology massage is my passion. I will continue to study how cancer affects the body and how massage helps manage pain, improve sleep, and improve overall quality of life.   

In the past couple years, I have been learning lymphatic drainage as it is helpful for many inflammatory conditions including those listed above. This massage modality is evidence-informed.
