Tres Armour, LMT is a massage studio located in Lakewood, Ohio, owned and operated by licensed massage therapist, Trés Armour and dedicated to providing therapeutic massage through customized massage techniques in Deep Tissue and Thai Massage. It aspires to provide integral healing and peace for the whole body, mind, and spirit.
For those looking for a place of healing and stillness, Tres Armour, LMT offers therapeutic massage sessions for all people and include: pain relief, post injury and/or surgery recovery, stress-related and/or overworked, active older adults, mothers, fathers, musicians, artists, therapists, doctors, teachers/coaches and those dedicated to overall health and wellness.
Each session is fully customized to the receivers' needs, both longterm and short. Trés connects with each receivers’ heart center, aligning himself with the body and breath for healing guidance. One leaves feeling relieved, restored, and rejuvenated.
A Bit About Tres:
Tres’ gifts of healing are deeply rooted in knowledge and servitude. As a child, Tres’ training in martial arts taught him the discipline of stretching and how to increase range of motion and maintain flexibility. He discovered at an early age how to use bodywork to minimize pain from an injury and release tension. These early foundations established a roadmap into the art of bodywork and the balance of body/mind/spirit that Trés practices today.
Trés graduated from Suncoast School of Massage Therapy in Tampa, FL in 1998. His education included western techniques in Swedish, Neuro- Muscular Therapy, and Active Isolated Stretching as well as eastern healing modalities in Shiatsu, Reflexology, and Yoga. The blending of east and west schools of thought naturally resonated with Trés and provided deeper avenues for attunement.
In 2004, Trés travelled to Chiang Mai, Thailand to study at The Institute of Thai Massage where he became certified in the ancient art of Nuad Bo-Rarn, also known as Thai Massage, or Thai Yoga Massage. His experiences in Thailand and travels to South Asia provided the breathing center for all future bodywork; upon which has maintained the focus and dedication of Trés’ practice.
Alongside massage, Trés has also maintained a personal practice in yoga for over 20 years. It wasn’t until 2009 that he decided to become a yoga teacher and obtain his yoga teacher certification through Jai Dee Yoga and Wellness Center in Tampa, Florida. Tres offers a wide range of styles, ranging from Ashtanga and Hatha to Yin and Restorative. He is thankful for his many teachers along the way. Most notably, he was honored to study under Tony Nenov, Gardens of Yoga in Tampa, Florida. Teaching yoga and practicing Thai Massage continue to provide avenues for more customization and awareness, instilling the recipient with connection and empowerment.
In 2015, Trés relocated to Lakewood, Ohio where he continued to develop his practice. With much thankfulness for his unfolding path, Trés opened his own massage studio in July of 2021 in Lakewood, Ohio, where he currently practices.
Having over 20 years experience as a Licensed Massage Therapist, with early foundations in massage and bodywork, education in both western and eastern healing modalities, core knowledge in Thai Massage, a strong therapeutic focus, and an innate dedication to the art of healing, Trés is committed to the health and well being of each client and to all individuals as a whole.
