I wasn’t expecting to walk down the amount of stairs in order to enter, so it’s not really conducive to clients with mobility issues. Obviously, this can’t be changed, but I think clients should be made aware of this fact. I’ve been to many spas, and all of them had some type of water, (bottled waters, or a cucumber water in a pitcher, etc.) to offer clients after their massage for some quick rehydration. I think this would be a nice added touch, and an inexpensive way to show clients that their needs are paramount in their massage experience. Masks were not worn by employees, and I thought that a bit off putting. Being a client, I chose not to wear one, but thought therapists should wear masks to symbolically/visually show their concern for the clients’ overall health and well-being.
