Intro to Shiatsu

A 30 minute introduction to Shiatsu massage. As the client, you remain fully clothed and the massage is performed on a mat on the floor. The massage therapist applies moderate pressure to the body's meridians in order to balance out the flow of "qi" or energy. This is the vital life force that flows through the body. In Chinese medicine an obstruction of this flow can lead to disease. You will leave feeling refreshed, relaxed, and grounded.

Gotta get rid of the ticking clock, that was awful to hear the entire time. Also the music felt like I was in a scary movie and played the same thing over and over and over, chose more relaxing music. Had trouble finding the place. Could hear people walking above during massage as location is basement of building. Didn’t have paperwork completed so had to quickly do that and was asked a bunch of questions, felt like you coulda just gotten started, paid for hour and a half, received 1 hour 15 minutes, I’m partially to blame, but felt like you could have been more flexible at that price point.

I had a wonderful massage with Stevie. Very knowledgeable and she reviewed good health practices after the massage. She also supplied me with some daily stretching exercises to do in between appointments.
