About Colleen Shea Massage
We live in a world in which we are constantly trying to find balance.  Sitting at a desk, doing computer work, driving long distances, working in restaurants, training for marathons, and life in general all take their toll on us.  As we use our bodies in repetitive ways over long periods of time, the body has to compensate.  Our bodies change as we use them in specific ways and as muscles tighten from overuse, atrophy from underuse or injuries, we get further away from balance.  This causes pain, tightness, decreased circulation, and adhesions (knots).  It is stressful when we do not feel comfortable in our bodies.  This is where I come in.  I help to ease this discomfort and help the body bring itself back into balance using swedish, deep tissue, fascial release techniques,... more
