My husband and I had a great couples massage. They would check in to make sure the pressure was good and adjust as needed. We will definitely go back in the future.

It was the worst massage I've ever had. I left crying because it was so painful. I specifically requested a female for my session, but was instead met with a male which I wasn't entirely comfortable with, but had to take one for the team. I wish I was notified well before my appointment time instead of getting sort of forced into this situation (when I arrived I was told that the other female LMT was sick and unable to come in). During the session, the male LMT asked if I wanted medium pressure but still did very hard pressure to the point where I was in tears. Not sure why he kept pressing on my bones and putting his elbow into every one of my ribs as part of his workflow/routine, but I didn't like/appreciate it at all. It was almost as if he knew I didn't want him as my massage therapist and did a hard/rough job purely out of spite. I won't be back, and if I did, it definitely won't be to see him. Additionally, I filled out the intake paperwork and it wasn't looked at because I had a lot of health conditions that needed to be taken into consideration and they clearly weren't during the session.
