Wendy has been a massage therapist since 2008 and attended The Massage School in Easthampton, Massachusetts. She is also certified in Usui Reiki I and II. Before becoming a massage therapist, she worked in graphic design and printing, and is a graduate of Westfield State College. 

She initially sought massage therapy for herself, looking for chronic tension headache relief. As an avid fitness enthusiast, she learned massage aids muscle recovery after workouts. She was so amazed by how helpful massage therapy was that she decided she wanted to help others feel relief from their chronic pain and muscle soreness as well.  She especially enjoys a deep therapeutic massage, which is also her favorite massage to give, with extra focus on neck and shoulder work.

Wendy has worked in several local spas over the past 15 years, including Ochoa Salon & Spa in South Hadley and Renew.Calm in West Springfield.  In October 2021, she began working as an independent massage therapist at Pure Massage and Bodywork in Agawam.
