I can remember back when I was around 11 and my dad was going through his back surgery rehabilitation. My dad was always the strong macho type, never allowed any pain or suffering to show onto me or my little sisters. But in the midst of his discomfort, I miraculously found my passion in life. While going to his physical therapy appointments, which consisted of him doing aquatics as well as his chiropractic appointments little did I know I was beginning to grow onto this whole manual therapy world. Being the biggest and strongest of my sisters, I stepped in to do any necessary or additional moving and/or work that needed to get done. Staying home, my older sister and I tended to my dad as he was constantly in pain and discomfort. Let me bring up the fact that both of my parents would call me "inspector general", who's laughing now folks. If I could describe exactly how nosey I was and how I would always poke at things I wasn't supposed to or how many dumb, yet informative questions I would constantly ask it would cover a whole book. So here's little Trukneads in the making, surrounded by pain but focused on alleviating, because that was my only option, to get my daddy back to normal. My dad has always been someone to look up to, someone you did not want to disappoint. Whilst me returning to school now being 20 and in college, it only drew me closer to the manual therapy world. Getting to work on things hands on?! sign me up!!! It was then I found I wasn't just meant for manual therapy, I was meant for rehabilitation purposes. The power of touch is unlike anything Ive ever experienced, and it would be sinful to not continue to exceed my given passion/ gift in this world. 

While putting my business together my close friends boyfriend happen to come up with my name... you ready.... being the second oldest out of four Truzinski girls, me being the tomboy.... Trukneads.  I couldn't be happier with my business name, it screams representation. Again unfortunately my dads injury brought my life a soulful meaning. As I continue to grow  through this healing process, you " the client " will come to realize and return with knowing that Trukneads is what you need (knead, get it).
