I started learning about bodywork as a hobby that quickly grew into a full fledged profession! I began as a massage volunteer at Laguna Honda hospital in San Francisco with the Zen Hospice program there. What a great foundation for me: it taught me to be present with each and every client. I was taught by a unique lady, Irene Smith, to perform this incredible work. Irene taught me compassion, opened my heart and how to listen to someone when they speak to you: how to listen, really listen. 

I love challenges! Difficult cases, clients who have been to many other people but have not had a resolution to their problem. 

My work is rooted in Active Release Techniques, the gold standard in soft tissue work. I have training in orthopedic massage as well, so these two modalities mesh well together. 

I mainly help people with neck, shoulder, back and knee pain. I also help restore range of motion in joints, restore arthritic joints, thaw frozen shoulders, calm thoracic outlet syndrome, remove nerve entrapment and rid my clients of stubborn plantar fascitis.
