Swig loves Rolfing more today than he did when he started his practice over 20 years ago. His work began in Boulder CO, where he graduated from The Guild for Structural Integration in 2001. From there he moved to Santa Monica where he grew a very successful practice. In 2022 Swig decided to break from the busy city life and move his practice up to Santa Barbara, which has been a favorite place of his since he graduated from UCSB.

Swig describes his style as being very slow, very deep, and very intuitive. His clients have often asked how he knows what going on with their bodies so accurately, with a smile he says, 'your body told me'. He says that his gift is to be able to listen to one's body and give it what it wants. 'Think of a kinked garden hose, once you remove the kink water can flow more easily. Sitting at a computer or lots of driving creates a similar 'kink' in the body. The intention of Rolfing is to bring the body into alignment, creating order such that the body is free from pain, acts more efficiently and feels better.'
