So without the prompting about ambiance I would have given a solid 5. I personally am not much troubled by ambiance as tune all that out during a session. But some cannot. The office I use is within a dojo and beside a busy highway. Jason has a nicer (reportedly quite nice but I have not been there) office but for me it would be half an hour drive on busy roads. I have been seeing Jason once a month for several years to deal with chronic pain from arthritis and an old lower back injury that flares up at times. We met at a wellness event at my employer where Jason said "I know why you walk like that and can help" to me as I walked past. This was intriguing and was proven correct. Jason is quite skilled, adapts his sessions to your needs that day, is willing to explain what he is doing and why, and is always calm in affect. Recommend highly.

This was a fantastic experience. I've been living with back and hip pain for 8 years. I've used chiropractic care and physical therapy to try mediate the discomfort and avoid pain management which has been suggested several times. The immediate relief I felt during this treatment was overwhelming. How I've felt in the 2 days since has been incredible. I will be booking a weekly appointment.

Jason is very skilled therapist. He adjusts the bodywork each visit to reflect what screening shows are current needs. I have good results working with him, despite pronounced arthritis and chronic pain and tight legs. I am typically pain free for a few days after each visit. The only negative is that the Selinsgrove location is a bit dingy. I don't find that problematic because the relief is so good but someone else might.

I was in an accident many years ago which created head trauma, nerve damage, and spinal damage. I was extremely stiff, unable to get muscles to release, even with the aid of pain and muscle spasm medications (which doctors told me I would be stuck with for the rest of my life). Jason's treatment and methods helped me faster and more effectively than half a dozen doctors and physical therapists using their conventional medical approaches all aimed at getting me to "average/normal." As a very active person and martial arts instructor, this was not acceptable. I credit Jason and his approach and techniques at Yakushi-An with my recovery and return to "my" normal. So much so that I have a standing weekly appointment to keep everything in balance. Thanks Jason!

I first met Jason when he came to our home to deal with a issue we had. He took the time to talk to us and answer all of our questions and explain all that he was doing. Our home has never felt better. I have since started meeting with Jason to work on my training and learning. Simple put he is amazing !

Jason is skilled. Very gentle but still gets results. I have severe arthritis, and due to an old injury my pelvis tends to rotate out of position. He is able to correct this without pain through simple manipulations. The amhiance is the only negative. He works out of a back room in a martial arts dojo.

I always have faith that my issue will be resolved, and if not fully resolved definitely on the right track. I also like that I'm given things to do to help it along between sessions.

Jason listens carefully. He begins with a careful physical analysis, so each visit deals with the issues of the day.He adjusts pressure to your need. I have a back injuty which acts up at times. Jason is able to adjust me back to proper alignment with slow gentle movements.

Jason did a great shiatsu treatment. Best treatment I ever experienced. I would highly recommend him. He was very personable and I discerned a very good spirit. After 10 years of excruciating digestive pain, I feel I am on the road to recovery and will continue with Jason's treatments.

I had a great experience with it and have definitively noticed changes occurring because of the experience.

The Dojo setting is not great. But the skill, rrspect, and gentleness of the bodywork will have me return. To help you judge your own situation, I have chronic plantar fasciitis, a knee replacement, and the immediate reason for treatment was a tilted pelvis and sacrum. I had immediate improvement after one session.

One appointment and I feel better then I've felt in months!
