Awesome facility that I’ve enjoyed for years…

Front desk people were very hyped up as soon as I walked in. Complaining loud and unprofessional. It changed my mindset from relaxed to stressed.

I wasn’t impressed with the initial engagement, but the massage is what I focused on.

As I arrived for my appointment I was told that there was a recent power outage and no music would be available during my session. Gabby told me if I wanted I could use my phone to play music. I was understanding and disappointed. Music is part of the massage experience and because my session was being interrupted something could’ve been offered in exchange for the inconvenience and it wasn’t. I’ve been going to Traditions for a very long time Bridget is my masseuse and she is absolutely amazing. A true master at her craft. Gabby at the front desk is also amazing and handled the situation as best as she could. Working in customer service industry myself, this could have been handled differently. My experience could have a lot better. I am not a complainer however I’m writing this review to bring awareness for any future issues with myself or any other clients. I felt that I needed to say something as the issue with the music has been a problem before during other sessions. Which I have commented about, but to my knowledge nothing was ever offered for the inconvenience other than an apology.

My experience was nice and very relaxing

My overall experience was very good. The place was very clean organized and zen. The massage was good masseuse was very personable. The only draw back I experienced was I expected a quieter and more zen environment.

You guys are excellent, it's worth to try.

I am very upset that I was not greeted until 4 minutes after I walked in and a customer who came in after me received immediate attention. I have been a customer for 2 yrs + on a bi-weekly basis. When I came in the receptionist was busy checking out a client at the front desk. So, I sat down and a woman came in after me. When the receptionist finished with the client at the desk, she immediately addressed the woman who arrived after me and proceeded to come from behind the desk to help her with skin products, during which time the receptionist was even closer yo me. She never addressed me until she noticed that I had an astonished look on my face. She never greeted me but proceeded to tell me that my therapist knew I was there.

Everyone was friendly and everything was clean and welcoming. I will definitely recommend them for a relaxing time at the spa.

My therapist listened to my concerns and adjusted the pressure accordingly. However my therapist hands were ice cold and she didn't warn me or try to warm up her hands before she began the session, which of course at first touch was a shock and also it made the massage a little uncomfortable. Other than that, I still enjoyed my session and will probably book another appointment in the future.

Only problem was while getting my massage the facial rest kept going down when the gentleman would apply pressure to my upper back/shoulders. Then I put my arms on the facial rest and the came down. Bernard repositioned the facial rest. Other than that I enjoyed my experience. I will be going back.

I miss when they used to offer a snack at the end 😌

I would definitely recommend Traditions Massage and Facial Spa to all my friends. It’s an excellent local place to get a massage! They won’t be disappointed!

Beautiful cozy place, smells amazing. My first service started about 15 late, but I appreciate that I still received the full hour and didn't effect the time allotted for my second service.

I paid for dry brushing and the description said "adds 10 minutes", bu the session ended at exactly 1 hour. The description of the service should not say "adds 10 minutes" it's not going to last any longer.

Love the ambiance at the spa. I felt the room where the massage was given was a little chilly.

Office staff always pleasant

It was my Bday. My husband booked me a 60 min. massage and an hot towel add on. My massage started at 3 and was over at 4. I feel like I didn’t get the time for the add on.

This massage place is pretty cool and I like that it’s in the neighborhood it’s a quick little spot for me to go to from my normal place in Buckhead by Lenox Mall. It’s nice and it’s clean and the ladies at the front desk are always professional.

I don’t think I was asked to eat my refreshments I’m the lobby until this visit. The boutique is nice addition.

Traditions is located in a restored house that is tastefully decorated into a top notch spa. The staff are courteous and attentive. I have only been here for massage so cannot comment on their other services. The massage therapists are highly skilled at their art. The ambiance is soothing and takes the edge of a stressful day.

Sonja needed to be more firm with my deep tissue massage.

I did not like having to wait for 10 minutes after my appointment to check out. There was a customer that came in 10 minutes before me and was checking out when I came out of my service and she was allowed to monopolize the front desk for 10 more minutes. I realize that with multiple services that there will be multiple clients leaving at the same time. Get more help, more computers or come up with a different way to check out your clients. Your front desk girls are very courteous and my massage was very relaxing which was my goal. The customer was a buzz kill and I didn't like listening to her smack her gum and give the girls the run around with making a new appointment. I know you can't help how your customers behave, but the front desk girls may need some training on how to deal with difficult customers.

I didn't realize I'd signed up for the fall special which included a foot salt scrub. Though it felt good, I would have rather had more massage time.
