She had good technique, however I asked for a relaxing massage and her movements were too fast & too deep. She spent a good amount of time on my back but quickly touched other areas. She needs to learn to slow down a little, take the right amount time in all areas. Perhaps she usually does deep tissue or sports massage and not Swedish.

Lorrie is a consummate professional. She takes the time to listen to your concerns and needs. She then provides advice and special attention to those areas of concern. This was my first time experience at Achelois and over all I found it very nice. Lorrie is great masseuse and I will sure book another appointment with her. I have not experience deep tissue session with her but for relaxing Swedish massage Lorrie is great therapist.

It was a wonderful massage, loved the hot rocks. I thought the room could have been a little warmer, the parts of me that were uncovered got a little chilly. And unfortunately I had a really bad allergic reaction to the massage lotion - I've had many massages and have never had an issue before but my whole body is covered in very itchy red bumps, even a couple days later.

The physical space was spacious and clean; the ocean wave music was calming. I enjoyed the lavender scented neck pillow and having my feet wrapped in heated cloths before being massaged.

Some soft music would be a nice addition but nothing too New Agey, just some nice soothing, perhaps classical music.

Small but cozy office (definitely an office feeling more than a spa vibe). Easy to find and plenty of parking. Scheduling was easy online via the website, however the hours are a little tricky if you have a full-time job. I wish there was at least one day of the week that offered evening hours, especially since the practice is only open one weekend day.

I thought it was a great massage, I didn't really enjoy the location. You needed to walk down a hallway outside of the spa to use the bathroom and it was very noisy, you could hear a man on the phone through the wall. Just not an attractive environment...but the massage was well worth it.
