I gained certification in Swedish Massage therapy by both Dee La Von School of Massage on the Oregon Coast, and Oregon School of Massage in Portland, Oregon, then licensed in 2011.  Since then, I have worked on clients in need of relaxation, Swedish, deep tissue, and prenatal modalities.  In addition, I now offer both cupping and gua sha, which are ancient techniques of breaking up adhesions, scar tissues, and stagnation-- aiding blood flow to applied local areas.  My style is very fluid and slow, working deep into hypertonic areas and allowing the "knots" to melt away.  I sometimes will use movement and stretch to increase a joint's range of motion.

Adding to my knowledge base within the healing arts improves my effectiveness as a massage practitioner.  I am actively studying Acupuncture and Chinese Traditional Medicine at the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine.  I am beginning my training in Shiatsu and Tuina.  These Asian massage practices work with acupressure points and the Chinese and Japanese energetic meridians to treat your body on a much deeper level!
