Before opening DiggsBodywork that I worked as a Certified Athletic Trainer throughout the San Diego area, with Team USA, several sports teams and both student and elite athletes.
Education-
In 2008 I interviewed and was accepted as one of thirty internship positions in Athletic Training through San Diego State University. Two years and 1500+ internship hours later, I graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology, emphasis in Athletic Training from San Diego State University.
I went right into my field of study, becoming the head athletic trainer at Valhalla High School in El Cajon California, staying in that position for the next three years. I also substitute taught through Grossmont School District. During those three years I contracted out as an Athletic Trainer for different sporting events and teams.
Deciding to further my studies, I enrolled in the International Professional School of Bodywork in the spring of 2012. I finished there in the spring of 2013 with 900+ hours of massage experience. In the fall of 2013 I opened DiggsBodywork, specializing in several styles of massage including Thai,
Tui Na, Swedish and Sports.
In 2016 I attended Point Loma Nazarene University and graduated a year later with a Masters Degree in Sports Management. In 2019 I completed yoga teacher training through Core Power Yoga, and began to study for my doctorate in Acupuncture at Pacific College of Health and Sciences.
I've worked with athletes through Southwestern College, San Diego State University, University of San Diego, California State University San Diego, Grossmont High School District, The EMW Foundation, The Olympic Training Centers in Chula Vista and Colorado Springs, UCI BMX World Cup circuit, The Dew Tour, Woodward West, Atavus Rugby Academies, traveled with USA Women's wrestling to Russia, and traveled with USATF for the Pan American Games and the ParaPan American Games in Toronto Canada.
I've honed a unique set of skills which I bring to each event I work, and individual client I works with.

Best massage I’ve ever gotten! She did such a wonderful job - attentive to spots that needed it most, impressive draping and professionalism overall. She creates a very safe space, with great music. Absolutely loved her technique of using her hands/knees. Would recommend :)

I don't get massages very often so I'm not an expert, but the one I got from Diggs was excellent and as good as I've ever had. I'm very active so the deep tissue sports massage was perfect. Massage went the full hour too.
