Good Health is an attitude!

I have been a Massage Therapist since 2008. I use a combination of Deep Tissue, trigger point, Myofascial release, TCM-based acupressure, and energy work to get to the root of the issue.

I came to this career as an over-caffeinated, underappreciated musician. I was tired of the hustle of the music business, and looking for an easy, commitment-free schedule, with the flexibility to oversleep (which I tend to do).

Massage Therapy is definitely not that.

I came to this career as an over-caffeinated, underappreciated musician. I was tired of the hustle of the music business, and looking for an easy, commitment-free schedule, with the flexibility to oversleep (which I tend to do).

Massage Therapy is definitely not that.

Nine years have passed, and I find myself rolling out of bed for an 8am client because without massage, it would be a lot harder for them to run their small business.

I stay at work late to make sure that the guy who does your body work can continue to work 6 days a week with his arms out in front of him painting cars.

I massage to help young mothers find relief from the compression they feel carrying the joyful weight of a growing toddler for a majority of their day, while navigating the balance between parenthood and self.

I soothe the aches that come from an aging body, so a grandmother can continue to bake and hike and paint, and focus on the benefits of growing wiser with age, as opposed to the drawbacks.

And I love my job.

I am so inspired by the idea that health begins with lifestyle. I don’t mean going vegan or gluten-free, or boot camp. I’m talking about finding the lifestyle rhythms that make you feel the most alive. Each time a client comes to my table, they check in with themselves: What tensions are you holding onto that were hiding in your blind spot? Overuse? Posture? Attitude? Trauma? Stress?

Would you like to find out?
