She taught me that while we specialize in the muscles, we must know how the entirety of all the body systems work in order to maintain balance. In my experience, which has only been a couple of short years, if you have fibromyalgia or just alot of stress, massage is beneficial and improves quality of life. I always speak to my clients before our scheduled session about there goal with massage. We all have different needs and in order for me to be effective in our session I may need to do research. So communication is key! I am not here to tell you what you need, I am here to help you facilitate what you tell me you need!
