Intern- Beaubien Bodyworks

From November 2018- May of 2019 I worked as an intern at Beaubien Bodyworks which was then located on Wealthy St. My responsibilities were not that different from someone who is practicing as a full time therapist. I had regular clients during my time there and was able to use the experience there to build a rhythm and flow for how I like to work.

Licensed Massage Therapist - Urban Massage LLC

In August of 2019 I started working as a Therapist at Urban Massage. I worked there until March of 2020 when the pandemic began. At that time I took about 8 months off to be home with my young son. I returned to Urban Massage in January of 2021 and worked there until March of 2022. Urban Massage is where I was really able to build my confidence as a therapist and start building a clientele of people that I truly enjoy working with.

Leigha is a wonderful massage therapist! She is thoughtful to ask what is needed each session, has a very quiet and relaxing space and applies the perfect amount of pressure. I feel revived every time! Best addition to my health care routine ever -- and she has a great system for an automatic monthly membership so each month I receive an easy reminder to make time to honor the needs of my body and mind. She is the best!!
