“There is no better than adversity. Every defeat, every heartbreak, every loss, contains its own seed, its own lesson on how to improve your performance next time.” — Malcolm

I chose massage therapy because I loved and enjoyed the reaction I got and the way it made people feel when I gave them these healing hands. After graduation, I plan on helping out in cancer centers. I’m a cancer survivor, so I know faith hope, love, and caring are essential.

Massage 7/12/2020 To be completely honest as constructive criticism: I felt that my needs were not met. My “knots” were localized instead of taken care of. I could have used more “kneading”. At the end of the massage he asked how my experience was / if I felt better or the same as when I came in and I was honest. I said it was okay and I didn’t feel better. I expressed my neck / shoulders were still aching and he went over and just rubbed the “knot”. I don’t feel it was a good massage. Honestly having massages done at least three times a year since I was 20 years old (for seven years now) I feel like THIS massage was by far the WORST massage I have ever gotten. Maybe ask of your instructors if they have any tips / recommendations or if they could help you. I’m no massage therapist but having seven years of getting massages I know when I leave a massage feeling relaxed and I left this massage feeling the same as I came in with ACHES and PAIN on my neck / Shoulders/ Back. Again there is definitely room for improvements and there is potential to be a great masseuse. Good luck in the future.
