Welcome to my website!  Along with being a LMT, I am a mother and grandmother and live in the Des Moines area. Touch and the body's need for touch are a part of human nature and are very key to our well-being.  As I began to explore Massage Therapy and its benefits, I have been overwhelmed with the impact it has had on clients and myself. Touch fills that innate need, that "language" God created in all of us.  The stress, anxiety, and pain that daily life can bring to each of us can dramatically restrict ones lifestyle and affect their overall health. Massage therapy can assist in helping to restore this. Touch can calm and renew.  My passion is to be that positive affect, by offering the gift of touch and providing an environment to relax, refresh and renew.

I just had my first massage with Janet and it was wonderful. She helped me with my very very tight and knotted back, listened to me on pressure and was very respectful of my wishes. The ambience was very calm and peaceful. She was thoughtful and offered water and small treats at the end to keep my hydrated. I scheduled me second appointment immediately.

I was nervous because I’ve only had one other massage somewhere else and couldn’t relax or enjoy it. Janet has a very calming voice and explained everything she was going to do and makes you feel comfortable to communicate with her what you need.
