I got into massage therapy because I wanted to help my daughter beyond what doctors and therapists were saying. Massage is a way for the mind to recharge, while the body truly relaxes and heals. That is nothing medication can do. I attended the Utah College of Massage therapy but then I had to relocate. So I attended CCCC here in Jacksonville, and graduated last September. I now hold an LMBT license. I can do Reiki massages and hold certification in that as well. If you were to ask me what I specialize in, it would be called therapeutic massage. I can do deep tissue work, Swedish, trigger point therapy, relieve headaches, and hot stone therapy. However I shape every massage to the person on my table. You will always be more than just a client, or file, or check in sheet. I will treat you with respect above all else, but also with care and empathy.
