Christine Varela was born and raised in Charlotte, NC. Graduated from Ardrey Kell High she was already active in the fitness community working at multiple health clubs. Her passion for fitness and helping people led her to become a certified personal trainer. For nearly two years she contributed her efforts to helping people regain their health and happiness back. In 2015, her journey led her to join the service. Christine trained to be an Airborne Diesel Mechanic at various locations such as Ft. Jackson, Ft. Lee, Ft. Benning and Ft. Lewis. She worked for a Special Forces unit and traveled to various different training sites to contribute her duty to her country. Later on, Christine was honorably discharged for a medical condition. A rare, genetic heart disease led Christine back home to family and friends where she pursued her new journey of health and restoration. Christine graduated from North Carolina School of Advanced Bodywork in 2017 under the supervision of various instructors, including David Phillips and Kyle C. Write who have been widely known in the Ashville/Charlotte community for their incredible bodywork therapies. Christine specializes in postural assessment and clinical application with trigger point release therapies. She also works with clients to find balance between therapeutic and manual therapies that can be maintainable for the long term. Christine strongly believes that through non-invasive, holistic manual therapies clients can achieve their personal health goals.
