Swedish

The Swedish massage techniques vary from light to vigorous. Swedish massage uses five styles of strokes. The five basic strokes are effleurage (sliding or gliding), petrissage (kneading), tapotement (rhythmic tapping), friction (cross fiber or with the fibers) and vibration/shaking. Swedish massage has shown to be helpful in reducing pain, joint stiffness, and improving function in patients with osteoarthritis of the knee over a period of eight weeks.

Pregnancy

Certified in Prenatal Pregnancy Massage. Helps relieve discomforts experienced during pregnancy: muscular discomforts, lower-back pain, upper-back pain, headaches, leg cramps, sciatica, stiffness, tension and knots, carpal tunnel syndrome, headaches, heartburn and acid reflux, fatigue, varicose veins, nasal congestion, shortness of breath, edema of the lower extremities, neck pain, interscapular pain, sacroiliac and hip joint pain and constipation. It also helps relieve depression or anxiety caused by hormonal changes.

Neuromuscular

Neuromuscular therapy is a specialized form of deep tissue massage in which digital pressure and friction are used to release areas of strain in the muscle. These areas of strain are called tender or trigger points and are the cause of muscular pain symptoms.

RUIT

RUIT™ (Repetitive Use Injury Therapy) is a patented technique for pain therapy on any type of repetitive stress injuries such as people with Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Tendinitis, Sciatica Syndrome, Knee Pain, Plantar Fasciitis, Hammer Toes, and Fibromyalgia and other ailments.

Trigger Point Therapy

Trigger point therapy is a bodywork technique that involves the application of pressure to tender muscle tissue in order to relieve pain and dysfunction in other parts of the body. It may also be called myofascial (myo meaning muscle, fascial meaning connective tissue) trigger point therapy.

Frank was very nice but he kept trying to find my trigger points which I did not care for. I could've told him to stop doing that but I did not want to hurt his feelings since he was so passionate about it. I also wish that he did not talk as much... I like to enjoy the quietness during my massage.

I had a migraine headache that was becoming unbearable prior to my massage. Frank's trigger point technique got rid of the migraine completely. Needless to say, I was very impressed and relieved as they typically last 24-48 hours.

Frank is really good at finding the trigger points where i had discomfort. He also included stretching with my massage. After seeing him i noticed the the stiffness and soreness of my neck were gone. Thanks a lot, Frank!

I asked Frank to work specifically on my aching shoulders and upper back, and he did an incredible job. He was very good about asking me about pain levels, and very patient with me when I didn't know quite how to answer him at first.

Frank was fantastic. I came in for back spasms, and by the end of my session, I was feeling ridiculously better. He didn't 0 "cure" the problem, but that's not what is expected or promised. He made my back spasms more tolerable and completely helped my overall comfort level. My wife told me how Ramon had helped to alleviate her migraines through trigger-point referral treatment--and I had a hard time understanding what she was explaining. I can honestly say now, though, that I completely understand what it is. I am still completely weirded out with how trigger-point actually occurs. Frank was able to address my back spasms by accessing triggers in both my shoulder and the side of my body by my ribs. It felt like he was pressing three different points of my body at one time, but he was only using his one thumb on one trigger. Aside from "loosening" up my back area where I was indicating the spasms were occurring, he rarely spent any time directly in the area of pain. Instead, he was able to "access" the pain through a sort of "back-door." I'll definitely go back to Frank. He was spot on with his location and his pain scale.

Frank's technique is around the trigger points and he's awesome. Works with you throughout the process to understand level of pain. Awesome!
