Logan’s journey in the bodywork and wellness industry began in 2017. After graduating high school, Logan began pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology. In 2019, Logan also attended Augusta School of Massage to receive his license for massage therapy. With his Kinesiology background, Logan’s understanding of the body, and the more clinical approach to massage therapy began growing. Using techniques Logan learned from his schooling, he can provide a holistic detailed approach when it comes to healing his clients. Logan excels when he is challenged, he says his favorite clients to massage are ones that come in with pain, as his work shines with being able to release the pain or dysfunction within the client’s body. Logan’s main specialty is providing medical and sports massage. Logan does this by providing a well-rounded mixture of massage therapy techniques like myofascial release and unwinding as well as bodywork techniques such as active release technique and assistive stretching. By both relaxing the muscles, and providing stretch to the muscles, Logan is able to manually restructure one’s body to a more natural state, removing the pain and dysfunctions within the body. This allows a greater range of motion, a feeling of ease in the movements of the body, and the release of any pain that may have been occurring. Upon graduating Augusta University, Logan is attending Daoist Traditions College of Chinese Medical Arts, to pursue a Doctoral degree in Acupuncture and Eastern Medicine. In addition to Logan’s interests in Massage therapy, Logan has seen the multitudinous benefits of practicing eastern medicine and traditional ways of living. He believes that in order to achieve the most health possible, we must live in accordance with nature. To him, this is achieved by living a happy life, eating a healthy whole-food diet, training the mind and emotions, and having proper physical activity. By becoming an Acupuncturist, Logan wishes to be able to pass on information to others about ways to which they could improve their life, to ultimately improve their health and wellbeing. Many times, diseases come about due to lifestyle factors, and if one were to change what they are doing or eating, they can see dramatic improvements in their health and minimize the chance for diseases to occur.
