Carol Thomas is a Board certified Registered Nurse and is certified by the Academy of Lymphatic Studies in Advanced Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD-C)- Management of Post Plastic Surgery Procedures. Carol has worked as a Registered Nurse since 2004 during which, she enjoyed fifteen fulfilling years at the bedside in various specialties such as telemetry progressive care, sub-acute cardiac units, and cosmetic post-operative care. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Gerontology at the University of South Florida, Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Florida State College at Jacksonville, and holds a national certification with the American National Credentialing Certification (ANCC) as a Gerontological Nurse.


Carol thrives on helping her clients on the road to recovery following plastic surgery, and helps to ensure our patients have a great experience with Go with the Flow Postoperative Recovery Services. Making sure her patients are prepared for surgery is just as important as surgery day. Carol makes sure to get in touch with each of her patients as they get ready for surgery. Whether they are recovering at home/hotel or Airbnb. She reviews all necessary information for recovery. Communicating with the surgeons office and surgery center is key to a successful recovery. This ensures Carol has the accurate information needed for optimal care.


As a registered nurse, Carol follows the physician’s postoperative instructions and restrictions. After undergoing your procedure, she's committed to making you feel safe and secure during your recovery process. Many of her patients feel common emotions before undergoing a procedure. They feel vulnerable, nervous and confused about having to deal with their aftercare. Carol's goals for her patients are to reduce stress before and after surgery, to optimize the recovery process.

Carol is very caring. She set up quickly and thought of everything I would need to be comfortable on the massage table after surgery. I was not in any pain during this massage. The ultrasound machine felt so good on my sore body. Highly recommend!

My second visit was even better. I was able to stand up straight with much less pain due to the ultrasound therapy in key areas. She took the time to communicate with my doctor on my progress and confirm my next steps of care. It’s been a successful experience.

Ms. Carol is very professional & knowledgeable in what she does. She has gone through the best training to understand & perform lymphatic drain massages (and ultrasound therapy) & is certified in it. She also does an amazing job or making you feel comfortable (in your own home) with her & brings all her bells & whistles to make sure the experience is amazing but also tailored to your specific needs. I can't recommend her enough.
