Ups and downs with more downs than any was the realism of what Western Healthcare had become. Insurance guidelines and limitations, over diagnosis, cookie cutter therapy approaches, even the push-back from the mention of Eastern bodywork approach and alternative wellness all led me into the John F. Barnes Myofascial Release training. Myofascial Release was something that I could apply to ALL of my patients regardless of age, problem, disease, or body ache. Infant to Adult to Geriatric and even animals—MFR just works!

At “The Healing Toadstool, PLLC” we are able to provide a gentle non-invasion, medication free option to resolve pain and other symptoms…only simple compression and holding techniques while you are given the safe space needed to experience Authentic healing. I started "The Healing Toadstool, PLLC" shortly after finishing additional education in Medical Massage Therapy. With a total of 16 years of experience and education I became Nationally Board Certified and Licensed for the State of Michigan for my second active healthcare license. I opened my heart, my mind, my home, and just me to all those searching for answers. So, you've got a diagnosis of this or that... but why? What caused it? How can it be stopped from happening again?

The Fascial System is a web-like matrix that surrounds and encompasses every bit that makes us who we are. While using its fibers to suspend us in space It allows us our shape against gravity.
