Voyage To Health consists of one LMT...your's truly, Wes Molsberry. This is my 4th and final career. You might say that I have "tilted at windmills" for decades. I found that the important things in life are not "things". The most important thing is actually "people". My quest now is to assist fellow voyagers in achieving their pain-free goals through therapeutic massage. In early 2022, I passed a milestone of having performed 1000 successful massage treatments. I remain eager to be a part of your "Voyage to Health"!

What constitutes a good massage?

My philosophy is that it should address areas of pain, tension and restriction, but the mystery of "referred pain" might amuse you in that the the points that need work are often not where the pain actually is.

I believe that each massage should should be a custom medley of modalities based on your unique state. My toolbox contains:

Swedish Techniques: Effleurage, Petrissage, Tapotement, Friction, Jostling
Deep Tissue
Sports Massage
Trigger Point Therapy
PNF (Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation)
Craniosacral Therapy
Myofascial Release (Active Cupping when appropriate)
even a little Shiatsu (ever mindful of the Asian meridians)

I like to begin each message by first dealing with the functional/medical issues, then finish with parasympathetic response producing spa techniques.
