A Father and a Caring Individual.

I am a father of four beautiful girls and am so lucky to be a father! They are the joy of my life. They are all unique with their own talents and gifts and what they have to offer the world. I am lucky to watch them grow into beautiful young women.

After my divorce in 2018, I immediately switched career gears and jumped into massage therapy college. I attended Intermountain Massage Therapy College where I was taught many of the wonderful important techniques I still use today. The 850 Hour+ program was and is still primarily focused on Structural and Myofascial work, Deep tissue, Stretching, Trigger Point and other useful and important techniques and therapies that I feel are most beneficial for my clients. I chose this program because I wanted to focus more on injury prevention, recovery, and the preventive healthcare aspect of massage therapy.

People that know me, including my family, friends, and clientele, would say that I am an empath and that I truly care. I do! I am happy when the people I care about are happy.

In August 2025 I competed and placed in my first bodybuilding competition! I know anatomy and physiology! It takes so much discipline and work to compete and get your body into top physical shape and condition. I have learned so much about the human body, muscle and connective tissue just in the last year. I apply that knowledge to my massage therapy work.

Intuition is a sort of "Sixth Sense" when applied to massage therapy. Intuition can not be taught, as it only occurs after many hours of hands on practice, application of learned knowledge and techniques in real physical life, and knowledge of human anatomy and physiology. Intuition is feeling and sensing there is an issue or problem at hand and a puzzle to solve. Intuition helps locate these issues and resolve them. There is a real energy and connection to the client and their muscle or fascia and it is AMAZING to truly be able to discover what the client specifically needs both physically and mentally!

"Healing the Body and Mind through Professional Body Work" is exactly what I do. Many people come to me for true full body mental and physical healing and recovery.

Massage creates a deeply profound connection between the therapist and the client that goes far beyond loosening tight muscles although that is just as important. It is truly sensing and feeling what each person needs, focusing on these trouble spots, helping relax the mind and spirit, helping the client grow more in touch with their own mind and spirit and finding what truly heals them. As a caring, nurturing person, I am here to help each individual find and resolve their physical and emotional challenges to become a happier more balanced individual!

Why The Massage Guy?

Many refer to me as an "artist" or "healer". It takes a special type of personality, skill, experience, and intuition to become a true massage artist.
I am highly trained and intuitive. Each person has unique challenges and it requires focus and skill to address what each person needs specifically. I listen to your muscles and body through touch and intense focus.
I am an empath. I truly care and love to get to know my clients, their challenges, and maintain good energy and ground myself before each client session. I have many of my own life battles. We all do. I intentionally focus on you and your needs. Many clients have mentioned how comfortable and relaxed they feel in my home studio space as well as how relaxed they feel around me. Good vibes here!
My primary focus in massage therapy is YOU and restoring balance through injury prevention and recovery, reduction of stress and anxiety, addressing trigger points or adhesions in the myofascial layers, and reducing or eliminating tightness in muscle tissue.

My location:

I work from my home! It is not the expensive, fancy spa setting. But what my setting has that very few have is my professional, top notch body work and a very nice calming, safe pace. My clients book with me regardless of my location. I have had to move several times in the last several years and they always are happy to get top notch body work where ever I am! It shows how much my technique and skill and my caring personality is appreciated by my clientele. I work from home to keep my pricing and overhead costs low as I want to help as many people as I can. I try to save money wherever I can, to prioritize YOU.

Credentials:

I am licensed through the State of Utah and passed the national MBLEX (exam). I was also an instructor for two years at a local massage college in Bountiful, Intermountain Massage Therapy College. Instructing was amazing and a great experience although it required time away from my clientele. I wanted to focus on YOU so I stopped instructing.

Cancelation Policy:

PLEASE DO NOT book if you do not know for sure you can make the appointment. Last minute and repeated changes to bookings creates difficulties for my schedule and other's schedules. Please do your best to make the appointment and please let me know if anything comes up so I can reschedule you :) I know life can unpredictable. Take care of yourself and make sure you make the appointment because YOU matter!

36 HOUR Notice of Cancellation as of July 2026

All cancellations are billed the full fee with less than 36 hour notice of cancellation if booked more than 36 hours in advance. Although, more notice is much appreciated so I have time to find a replacement. For same day bookings or bookings within a three day period, this does not apply. Thanks for understanding and for your kindness.

I do everything I can to stay competitive and remain as affordable as possible and have not increased rates since 2022. If the price affects your ability to book an appointment PLEASE reach out. New Rates as of May 2026.

* The new rate does not change for EXISTING CLIENTELE. Existing clientele are those who book at least TWO sessions per year. Existing clientele refers to those booking any year/month prior to June 2026.
