I’m John LaBounta, founder of A Helping Hand Massage and a licensed massage therapist serving clients across Buena Vista, Steamboat Springs, and surrounding Colorado mountain communities since 2007.

My work blends therapeutic massage, recovery-focused bodywork, and manual therapy techniques to help people move better, recover faster, and find lasting relief. I specialize in chronic pain, injury recovery, mobility work, and helping active individuals recover after skiing, hiking, rafting, long travel days, and the physical demands of mountain life.

Currently, I’m offering mobile massage services—bringing professional bodywork directly to clients, vacation rentals, and group events—while we secure a permanent treatment location. This allows clients to receive high-quality care in the comfort of their home, lodging, or event space.

Whether you’re a local managing chronic tension or a visitor looking to recover during your Colorado adventure, my goal is simple: provide personalized care that helps you feel better in your body.

With nearly two decades of experience and a reputation built on real results, I believe massage should do more than help you relax—it should help you heal.
