Hello!

My name is Josh, and I have been a massage therapist 15+ years. I have a beautiful wife and family that is the driving force behind all I do.

My philosophy on massage is that it is quite literally a language. The best massage therapists know how to speak to the body in a way that can help encourage and facilitate release, but more importantly know how to listen to the feedback from their client’s nervous system in order to understand what their body is needing.

My first 3 years doing massage I worked at a Massage Envy in Westlake where I acquired more than 3000 hours of table experience in “learning the language.”
The following 3 years I began working at the world class Lake Austin Spa Resort, becoming the lead therapist the last 2.5 years I was there. At the spa the majority of my work was focused on relaxation techniques and body treatments.
Up until the start of 2022 I had been the lead therapist at the top chiropractic and wellness clinic in Dripping Springs, where I have focused on structural release and medical massage. I discovered I loved getting to work consistently with my patients and helping them live and move pain free.

In October 2017 we moved to Leander in order to shorten my wife’s commute. I had made the commute to Dripping Springs every day because I love my clients there, but 12+ hours a week in the car takes its toll. In 2019 I opened Release MT in Cedar Park while still working in Dripping Springs half the week; in January of ‘22 I left Dripping Springs to devote all my time to growing my own business! I would love to meet you and am confident that no matter what your body is needing we can work together to help achieve those goals!
