Hi, I’m Mija. Welcome.

I’ve been practicing massage and bodywork since 2010. I earned an Associate of Science degree from the International Professional School of Bodywork (IPSB) in San Diego, graduating in 2013. My training includes craniosacral therapy, relational somatics, neuromuscular therapy, structural integration, and deep-tissue sculpting.

My therapeutic massage integrates techniques and principles from neuromuscular therapy, structural integration, and deep-tissue sculpting, along with trigger-point work, pin-and-move techniques, cupping, and gua sha. Rather than applying a fixed routine, I listen and respond to the patterns, needs, and goals that emerge in each session.

My approach is guided by an intention to listen rather than fix, and to create space wherever possible. Sometimes that means focused and physically intense work. Sometimes it means doing considerably less and allowing something quieter to emerge. Most sessions find their own balance between the two.

We generally begin by talking about what is bringing you in and what you would like support with. When useful, I may also observe your posture or movement. From there, we decide together how to approach the session, adjusting as we go. Consent, communication, and your direct experience remain central throughout.

I also offer biodynamic craniosacral therapy and relational somatics, either as their own sessions or as part of an integrated approach. Craniosacral sessions use gentle, subtle touch and spacious attention and can offer an opportunity for deep rest, settling, and greater internal awareness.

Relational somatics may include dialogue, guided imagery, quiet observation, or hands-on work as we bring curiosity to the ways sensation, emotion, imagery, and lived experience meet in the body.
Individualized flower essence consultations are available for clients drawn to that form of subtle support. Consultations are collaborative and conversation-based, creating space to explore emotional patterns, relationships, life transitions, and areas where support is needed. Together, we develop a personalized formula for you to take home.

Across these approaches, the work can be focused and intense, quiet and spacious, deeply moving, surprisingly funny—or all of those things in the same session. It is an honor to accompany people in it.
