Encompass Health St. John's, is a clinic owned an operated by Matthew Wells, RMT. It is designed to work with clients to address various soft tissue injuries.

Upon booking in with me you will be sent an email with an intake form, so that you may fill that out prior to coming to the clinic, then email it back so that it saves you time from filling in paperwork at the clinic itself.

Once the treatment starts, I'll have a few follow-up questions for you that aren't included in the intake form, as well as some Orthopedic testing. Each case is individualized to the specific mechanism of injury.

Treatments generally consist of two parts:
1. Soft tissue work such as swedish massage, deep tissue massage, Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization, Joint Mobilizations, Stretching, etc

2. Exercise Rehabilitation, and Movement Correction. This part of the treatment differs greatly depending on what movements cause pain, and relieve pain. But essentially, you will be given a remedial homecare program consisting of anything from stretching, strengthening, and recommendations on how to move to avoid pain and desensitize the area that is affected.
