As a native of Niagara County, I worked for a local company as a data processor. While there, I developed chronic pain in the right side of my neck. I tried treatments without success, until I finally tried massage therapy. I thought, “why not? I don’t want this pain all of my life.” And it worked. I was so impressed, that I wanted to help others in the same manner. So I went to massage therapy school. My goal was to have my own business as a full-time Massage Therapist. I wanted to be able to help people feel healthy and happy.

I know the issues that individuals face while working 8 to 9 hours a day, sitting at the computer. But the same issues also affect other jobs that require bending and lifting. Then there are sporting activities that cause stress on your muscles as well.

On top of physical stress, emotion stress and anxiety play a major role in how a person feels. Both the physical and emotion stress of work can limit productivity. At Serenity Massage I would like to help people feel better, no matter where they work, and relieve their discomforts, no matter where the pain affects them.

I chose the name “Serenity Massage” for my business because that is how I want people to feel; calm, peaceful, tranquil, quiet, still, and composed. It is my goal to make you feel that way.
