Since Nadya was a child, growing up a first generation American in the Pacific Northwest, she's known she was to continue the work of her ancestors who were Village healers. Although she honors her Eastern European roots and their intuitive healing skills, she had a thirst for understanding the data and knowledge of the work. She had discovered the work of Jean Pierre Barral, a french Osteopath who did just that; he put over 40 years and thousands of case studies based on a method which involves Listening to the body and just "waking up a little something." Alot of the work can include Visceral (Organ) Manipulation, which Nadya will call them "roots of pain" many times.

Some of the other work Nadya does is specializing in pelvic floor dysfunction, Pre and post natal treatment, craniosacral therapy, osteoarticular and deep tissue massage and bodywork. She is passionate about her work and continues furthering her knowledge through the Barral Institute on a regular basis.

Nadya has lived abroad but now happily lives in Silverton, Oregon with her three children. They love the historical small town that is diverse enough to embrace all walks of life and yet small enough where it's personal. They feel lucky to have the beautiful hills, clean town that supports green living, and driving distance to Hot Springs, the Ocean, and even downtown Portland.
