Our first work is specifically within the muscles, fascia and joints. We specialize in Restorative Muscle Therapy (RMT), a deeper tissue manual therapy based on Schulman Therapy. The RMT Practitioner leans in with her forearms, working through the soft tissue, gently inviting layer by layer of hardened tissue to lengthen and loosen. Pliable and elastic soft tissue enhances mobility and reduces the risk of injury and pain.

We set bound and hardened fascia free, coax frozen joints to melt into movement, and calm irritated muscles into ease.

We look further than tight muscles--we look for the cause. We study the patterns and systems of movement, to find what is out of balance. Working layer by layer, in a wave-like movement, deep to the surface of the skin, we address the systems of motion.

We know how to feel. Our work is often through areas of discomfort, so we learn to listen with care. We lean into the resistance and ask it to move, following the lead of the body, allowing the muscle and fascia to set the pace.
