J. Mica Massage was created in New Orleans, LA as a practice in body-mind medicine and stress management. Stress can be mental or mechanical; it's likely both. Stress can trap you in your body through restrictive tension patterns or it could push you out of your body altogether in the form of a racing mind. It inhibits your ability to fully function as you move throughout your days. I seek to help you manage and decrease your stress through focused intentional bodywork.

Integrating myofascial release and deep tissue techniques, I aim to introduce mobility into all layers of your soft tissue, allowing your muscles to relax and better support you. Swedish strokes and Reiki energy work invite your mind to settle and clear, creating space for focus and clarity.
