As a massage therapist since 2007, I have had the pleasure of helping many people dealing with chronic pain. In that time, I've learned so much about which areas of the body cause other areas to be stiff, tense or painful. I am amazed at what our bodies will adapt to in regards to limited range of motion and muscular discomforts. Many people are so accustomed to their new "normal" that they don't even realize they can feel better!

My specialty is therapeutic massage which blends beautifully with chiropractic care and pain management regimens you may be doing at home. Unlike a spa massage, which is primarily about relaxation (and nap time!), I work on specific areas in each session. If you come in with neck and shoulder pain, I will address the neck and shoulder muscles as well as the rotator cuff, the arms from the elbow up, and your pectoral muscles. Each of these areas refer pain to the neck and shoulders. If you come in with low back pain, I will massage the lowest muscles of the back, your glutes, and your legs. You'd be surprised how much tension you hold in your legs and aren't even aware of! The tension in your quads and hamstrings refer pain to the hips and the low back area.
