Healing Haus Massage & Bodyworks (formerly Walking Well), has been serving the Lawrence community with bodywork since 2007. What began as one man and a massage table, has grown into a multi-therapist collective with a combined 20 years of experience, healing the world, one client at a time. Massage Therapy has a variety of benefits for our mind, body and spirits and we offer a well rounded selection of services to help you feel your best. Below you will find a brief bio for each of our massage therapists.

Kyle is a Licensed Massage Therapist and Personal Trainer who, through his knowledge, experience and passion, offers restorative massage and integrated corrective therapy to professional, collegiate and high school athletes, fitness enthusiasts, and the regular day to day client looking for relief from pain and stress accumulated during this busy life. Kyle excels at helping his clients correct imbalance and/or injury.

Jess has been practicing Massage Therapy for over 9 years and through the use of several different modalities and tools, strives to provide the perfect and most effective treatment experience for each individual that finds themselves on her table. She excels in restorative/deep tissue massage while keeping her technique flowy and relaxing to let your body fully let go of the stress you brought in with you. Hot stones often make their way into her sessions as well as gua sha or cupping if they feel like the best tools for the task.

Devon has been practicing massage since 2010. He has worked for spas in Olathe, Lenexa, and Lawrence, KS. Dedicating the last 14 years to developing a thorough and effective massage, Devon utilizes varying pressures, with flowing transitions to transport and lull clients into a lucid and relaxed space. Here he addresses what has resided in the different tissues of the body with a tactical and “leave no stone unturned” approach. This hybrid style of massage dips into a well of benefits that soft tissue work can bring.

Whitney is a certified massage therapist who has practiced massage for the past 10 years. She spent the bulk of this time learning and growing at Elevate Arts of Wellness, and is excited to continue her massage journey with Healing Haus. Whitney is currently in her mom era! She holds a special place in her heart for all moms and recognizes their importance. Just know you’ll be taken care of when you come in to enjoy some much needed, “Me Time”. Whitney’s specialty includes the customized 2 - 2.5 hour massage.

Laura has always had a passion for body work. After tearing her ACL in 2018 and going through physical therapy, it lead her to pursue a massage therapy license.
Starting her practice, she worked out of Crossroads Chiropractic, and Wellness. Working along side chiropractors and functional movement trainers developing treatment plans.

When Kyle and Jess asked Laura to join the Healing Haus community, she eagerly said yes.
Excited to continue her body work practice of deep tissue and relaxation massage-sometimes a bit of both! Along with other modalities to give you a customized session that you will surely enjoy.

Taylor has been practicing massage for 19 years. After his schooling at PCI in Lawrence KS he continued his journey working for a local business Salon Di Marco. After 5 years of working in the spa environment he continued to sharpen his skills by returning back to PCI as a massage instructor where he taught for two years. during this time he continued to practice massage at another Lawrence location Elevate Wellness Arts. After another 5 years, him and his family moved out of state where he started his own practice for 8 years. Having missed Lawrence and its community, Taylor and his family have moved back and are happy to be a part of the Healing Haus where he can further help the community with his skills and knowledge of bodywork.
