Jin Shin Do® Bodymind Acupressure®, 5 Element Shiatsu Traditional Chinese Medicine, Craniosacral and Dental Fascial Undwinding, Myofascial Release Techniques and Tendino-Muscular Meridian Release, Trigger Point Therapy. I also offer, Therapeutic Massage( swedish massage), Geriatric Massage and Elder Care, and most recently; Oncology Massage Therapy. The integration of bodywork allows me to design treatments specific to each of my clients needs; children, adolescent, adults to geriatric care. Long term illness, physical injury or emotional distress can result in muscle tension, chronic pain, anxiety and depression.

Through the power of compassionate touch my desire is to help you learn to relax, rejuvenate, and restore the balance in your whole body, mind, heart and spirit. Helping you discover a new sense of self, a quiet and calm that will last because you helped discover it hidden in your body.

In private practice for the last 24 years I have learned about trauma therapy, worked with psychotherapists and family counselors and Chiropractors in a interdisciplinary healing context that sees the whole person, and how incorporation of touch therapy and psychotherapy enhance the benefits of emotional healing, bringing the body and mind to wholeness and into the present moment of new possibilities.

Jin Shin Do® Bodymind Acupressure® uses gentle yet deep finger pressure on specific acu-points and verbal Body Focusing techniques, to help release "armoring" or chronic tension, balance the "Qi" or energy, and improve vitality. This clothes-on method helps relieve stress and trauma-related problems. A unique synthesis of a traditional Japanese acupressure technique, classic Chinese acu- theory, Taoist philosophy, Qigong (breathing and exercise techniques), Reichian segmental theory and principles of Ericksonian psychotherapy, Jin Shin Do® acupressure was originated by Iona Marsaa Teeguarden.
