A Note About Pressure

While we absolutely offer deep tissue work, we’re not the kind of therapists who go for that super-deep overly painful pressure. If you’re seeking someone to really dig in with elbows going through your ribs to your lungs, we might not be the right fit for you. We believe in working with the body to heal—not forcing it to the point of pain just for the sake of “going deep.”

Recently, we’ve noticed more requests for that ultra-intense approach. We get it, but in the long run, it’s not the most effective for your body and it’s not sustainable for us as therapists either.

One woman even shared that she preferred sessions where the therapist literally kneeled on her! That’s just not what we’re about. Everyone has their preferences, and that’s perfectly okay. If that’s the kind of work you’re looking for, it may be better to seek out a specialist who focuses on it.
