Hello, I’m Misty! I've always been fascinated by what helps people truly thrive—not just survive.

That curiosity led me down a winding path that includes becoming a Registered Nurse (16 years), Licensed Massage Therapist (10 years), Board-Certified Nurse Coach (3 years), and now a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) student. Along the way, I've worked with people facing physical pain, stress, burnout, injuries, health challenges, and major life transitions. What I've learned is simple: our bodies are constantly communicating with us, and sometimes we need the right support to listen.

At Ember Rising, I bring together clinical knowledge, integrative bodywork, and compassionate coaching to help clients move toward greater ease, resilience, and well-being. My work is rooted in science, but it's delivered in a way that feels human. You'll never be treated like a diagnosis, a checklist, or a problem to fix.

I work with a wide range of clients—from athletes and active adults to busy parents, professionals, caregivers, and those simply seeking a deeper connection to their health. Whether you're looking for relief from physical discomfort, support navigating stress, or guidance creating healthier habits, we'll work together to find an approach that fits your life.

Outside of work, I’m a wife and mom who understands that most people don’t have unlimited time, unlimited energy, or unlimited patience for complicated wellness plans. I believe in progress over perfection, coffee is often a legitimate coping strategy, and healing is usually more successful when we can breathe, laugh, and be honest about where we’re starting.

I’m glad you’re here, and I’d be honored to be part of your journey.
