Welcome to Flowing Flame Reiki & Massage Therapy

I’m Laura, the heart behind Flowing Flame Reiki & Massage Therapy, and I’m passionate about helping people reconnect with themselves through the healing power of touch, energy, and deep relaxation.

** I want to emphasize that I am a GRATUITY-FREE BUSINESS! To best serve you, this practice operates on a "no-tipping" model. The price you see is the exact price you pay. My rates are set to reflect a fair, professional wage for my expertise as a dual practitioner, allowing you to fully focus on your relaxation and healing without any math or guesswork at checkout. Thank you for supporting a transparent and sustainable business model. **

I have been a part of the spa and wellness industry for over 10 years and I have been a licensed massage therapist since 2018. I began my professional career straight out of massage school at The Spa at the fabulous Grove Park Inn in Asheville, North Carolina, where I had the opportunity to work in a world-class luxury spa environment. This experience taught me the importance of exceptional service, attention to detail, professionalism, and creating a truly restorative experience for every client.

Over the years, I’ve taken everything I learned in that luxury setting and brought it into my own practice with a more personal, local approach. I believe that wellness should feel both exceptional and accessible — a space where you can slow down, breathe, let go, and simply be cared for.

At the heart of my practice is my belief in the mind, body, and spirit connection. Our physical bodies don’t exist separately from what we experience emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. The stress of everyday life, difficult circumstances, emotional overwhelm, and simply carrying too much for too long can often show up physically as tension, fatigue, headaches, muscle aches, and chronic tightness.

This is where massage therapy and Reiki come together beautifully.

I have been practicing Reiki since 2025, and I weave Reiki naturally into my massage practice. Reiki offers a gentle, calming energy-based experience that can encourage relaxation and create space for the mind and body to slow down. Combining Reiki and massage therapy allows me to offer an experience that addresses both the physical and energetic aspects of relaxation and wellness.

My treatments can be deeply restorative and relaxing, while also providing therapeutic, focused pressure to address areas of tension, aches, and everyday muscular discomfort. Whether your body needs deep therapeutic work, your mind needs quiet, or you simply need a moment to step away from the demands of daily life, my intention is to meet you where you are.

Flowing Flame represents the way I view healing — as something that can move, flow, and transform. My goal is to create a safe, peaceful environment where you can release tension, reconnect with your body, quiet your mind, and leave feeling more grounded and renewed.

I’m honored to bring the knowledge, training, and high level of service I gained working in a world-class luxury resort spa into a more intimate, local setting.

Come as you are. Take a breath. Let the healing flow.
